JUNE'S THEME: MISUNDERSTOOD MONSTERS
Misunderstood Monsters - whether it's the bit of humanity left in Frankenstein's Monster, the shred of compassion Godzilla has for the inhabitants of Tokyo, or the love King Kong feels for Ann Darrow, we all relate to these creatures in some manner. No matter what the torch-wielding mob says, we'd give 'em another chance to show their good side!
What's your interpretation of a misunderstood monster? What's really behind that frightening countenance that deserves a chance at redemption? Show us, and we'll choose the best!

WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
Full Metal T-Shirt is proud to announce our Design Showdown! Every month, we'll pick a theme that we think would look incredible on a shirt (and in print!). Your mission is to come up with the best designs possible, and enter them here! Once it's up, tell the world! The more votes and the better the comments, the better your chances of winning. So blog, email, tweet, digg, stumble, text, IM, and post on Facebook and MySpace to your heart's content; just remember, though - no one likes comment spam.
WINNING DESIGNS
At the end of each month, we'll move all of the designs into The Vault, where we archive all designs that are no longer open for voting. We'll pick a winning design by the second Tuesday of the following month, and that artist will enter the ranks of The Guild! They'll win $100 cash, $100 credit, and a FREE copy of their shirt! Most importantly, that artist will earn a $5 cash residual for each shirt, art print, and canvas print of their design sold on this site, for an entire year! That means the more shirts that sell, the more money you get! Sell 100 shirts, get $500! Sell 1,000 shirts, get $5,000!

A NOTE ON DESIGNING FOR FMT
Since we use a state-of-the-art Direct-To-Garment (DTG) printer, you don't have to worry about color restrictions! All the colors of the CMYK rainbow in one design? Sweet!
While we love halftones, sometimes full gradient fades give a more artistic feel; either way is good for us!
What about size? While we prefer to print 16" x 20", we can print up to 17" x 45", too - so let your imaginations run wild!
